A rich and aromatic tomato based gravy preparation with a rustic flavor. Best served with naan or aromatic Basmati rice.
Ingredient List
- 1 packet Sujata Sauce Mix for Chicken Tikka Masala
- 12.5 oz. (350g) Chicken
- 10 fl. oz. (300ml.) Water
- 3.5. oz. (100g) Curd (yogurt)
- 1 tbsp. (20g) Butter
- 3.5 fl. oz. (100 ml.) Milk
Preparation
- Whisk the entire contents of this packet with 10 fl. oz. (300 ml.) of water and 3.5 oz. (100 g) of curd (yogurt) in a bowl to form a smooth mixture.
- Sauté 12.5 0z. (350 g) of chicken (small pieces) in 1 tbsp. of butter on a medium flame till it turns golden brown. Add the mixture from the bowl and cook till the gravy becomes thick (8-10 minutes).
- Slowly add 3.5 fl. oz. (100 ml.) milk while stirring continuously and cook further for 10 - 12 minutes or till the gravy becomes thick.
Tips
- There is no need to add oil or salt to this recipe as it already contains these ingredients.
